Annual report of gynecologic cancer registry program in Korea: 1991~2004

Abstract
- Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology estimates the number of new gynecologic cancer cases and deaths expected in Korea in the current year and compiles the most recent data on cancer incidence, mortality, and survival based on incidence data from the Gynecologic Cancer Registry Program every one or two years. Recently, gynecologic cancer registry gathering clinical data in 2005~2006 is in progress.
In this article, we provide an overview of cancer statistics, including recent trends in gynecologic cancer incidence, mortality, and survival rates from 1991 through 2004.
