Abstract

Clinical experiences of the anesthesia of the patients with WPW syndrome or PSVT and the surgical ablations of the accessory pathway Between February 1987 and March 1990, 20 patients underwent operation for correction of supraventricular tachycardia. Among the patients, 14 cases anesthetized with similar method were selected and reported the results retrospectively. The results were: 1) There were 9 males and S females of patients. 2) Premedications were done to 12 patients with morphine sulfate 0.1 mg/kg intramuscularlly. 3) Anesthetic induction was done in 12 patients by diazepam 10mg and Innovar 2ml with pancuronium 0.1~0.13mg/kg for the intubation. 4) After the surgical ablations, Nitroglycerin 0.5u/kg/min was given to 13 patients and 5 patients were needed to have inotropic supports. 5) There were no complications after the anesthesia and operation.
