A Case of Generalized Essential Telangiectasia
Abstract
- Generalized essential telangiectasia is defined as condition in which the veins and cspillaries of the skin undergo primary dilation independently of preceding or coexisting skin lesions of other types.
We report herein a case of generalized essential telangiectasia in a 27-year-old female, who has been suffered from generalized erythematous to reddish linear, mottled, or net like telangiectatic macules except face, hands and feet. There were no abnormal laboratory findings and no evidence of systemic disease. Histopathologic examinations showed only dilated telangiectatic vessels in the upper dermis.
