Aerospace Medicine Careers: Aerospace Medical Association
Abstract
- Aerospace Medicine is that field of medicine concerned with the determination and maintenance of the state of health, safety and performance of persons involved in air or spaceflight. Aerospace Medicine physicians are found in both civilian and military practices. They have a unique medical practice situation that includes direct patient (pilots and families ) care. However, there is a constant mix of clinical and other aerospace-related activities. This allows an extremely stimulating and exciting practice experience where each day is different than the one before.
