Abstract

The undisturbed passings of vessels through an area of abnormal hepatic attenuation on CT or an area of abnormal echogenicity on ultrasound suggests the benign focal fatty infiltration. In the malignant hepatic tumor, the vessels through the tumors are usually disturbed. We recently experienced three cases of malignant hepatic tumors (1 hepatocelluar carcinoma and 2 metastatic adenocarcinomas) showing patent hepatic vein passing through the mass lesion.
