Caudal Steroid Injection for Treatment of Piriformis Syndrome

Abstract
- Piriformis syndrome is a syndrome of low back and leg pain thought to be due to chronic contracture of the piriformis muscle that causes irritation of the sciatic nerve. We have utilized an alternative approach using cauaal steroid in local anesthetics injeetion in the treatment of piriformis syndrome. I it was a very effective method without any complications.
