Abstract

Osteonecrosis of the femoral condyle is clinically characterized by the sudden onset of knee pain in older patients and not usually associated with systemic disorder or previous corticosteroid therapy. We reported a bilateral femoral bicondylar osteonecrosis in 26 year old male patient who had treated with long term high dose corticosteroid therapy due to nephrotic syndrome. We accomplished autogenous iliac tricortical bone graft on bilateral femoral bicondyle. We reported postoperative results of right and left knees at 8 months and 1year follow up.
