Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the changing picture of objects seen in delusion of psychotic patients during the past twenty years (1972~1974 and 1994). Materials were sampled from 116 psychotic patients with delusion, who had been admitted to Chonnam University Hospital from April 1, 1972 to September 30, 1974 and 108 psychotic patients with delusion, who had been admitted to Chonnam University Hospital and National Naju Mental Hospital from April 1, 1994 to November 30, 1994. During the past twenty years, the frequency of police, secret agent, spy, army, and identified person were decreased, whereas the frequency of unidentified person was increased. The above changes were attributed to the recent socio-political changes in Korean in terms to "democratization"
