We present a 51 year-old man patient in clinical setting of Q wave myocardial infarction, in whom the electrocardiographic findings were normalized at follow-up. He had a critical eccentric stenosis of left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) and underwent Microstent implantation at the lesion site with local nitric oxide (NO) donor delivery. Follow-up coronary angiogram at 48 hrs showed the patent stent without stent recoil and intra-stent thrombus. Seven months later, the 12-lead ECG showed normalized ST-T segment and disappearance of T-wave inversion and abnormal Q wave. Follow-up coronary angiogram demonstrated no stent restenosis.
