Reduction Labioplasty of Female Genitalia

Abstract
- We experienced six cases of aesthetic labioplasty since September of 1998 to April of 2000. We performed three cases of simple excision, one case of wedge resection and two cases of deepithelized reduction labioplasty. The patients wanted surgery for various reasons such as aesthetic discontent, poor hygiene, diminished self confidence, poor sex appeal and agonizing chafing and irritation. They were satisfied with resultant physical comfort from improved hygiene, relieved chafing and irritation and better sexual enjoyment.
