Fibromuscular Dysplasia of the Middle Cerebal Artery

Abstract

Fibromuscular dyspalsia of the middle cerebral artery is a very rare disease and few angiographic finding was reported. A 16-year-old boy with right hemiparesis and facial palsy due to fibromuscular dysplasia of left middle cerebral artery is presented. The diagnosis was based on the characteristic string-of-beads configuration in middle cerebral artery on angiography.
