  • Fig. 2 Skin biopsy of the nodule showed well-circumscribed, biphasic tumors (A: H&E, ×12.5) composed of intersecting fascicles of spindle cells (B: H&E, ×200) and a vascular compartment with polygonal cells (C: H&E, ×200). The tumor was positive for smooth muscle actin stain (D: ×40) and negative for desmin (E: desmin, ×40), S-100, and CD34 stains. The skin biopsy of the patch showed nonspecific mild epidermal and dermal atrophy with a small tumor of myofibroma in the dermis (F: H&E, ×12.5).
