Single crus of the penile corpus cavernosum

Abstract
- The erectile bodies of the penis have two separate embryologic origins with the corpora cavernosa and their crura developing from paired genital tubercules, and the normal penis has paired corpora with individual crura. During an operation for penile prosthesis implantation in a 35-year-old man, we discovered only one crus with two corpora cavernosa. The details of this unusual case are described.
