Choroidal Osteoma: 1 Case Report

Abstract

The choroidal osteoma is classified as a benign ossifying tumor of the choroid. It is typically found in healthy young females in the second or third decades of life. In a health 13-year-old girl, subretinal hemorrhage in macular and an orange-red colored, elevated lesion with a well defined geographic border was found. The ultrasonographic and computed tomographic findings supported the clinical diagnosis of a choroidal osteoma.
