Clinical Study for Variation of Ocular Tension after Retrobulbar Injection

Abstract
- We had studied correlations of changes of ocular tension after retrobulbar anesthesia and digital massage in 100 cases which was received the cataract operation. The results were as follows. 1) The mean value of intraocular pressure reduction after retrobulbar injection and digital massage was 8.26 mmHg. 2) The effects of lowering intraocular pressure in administration of hyperosmotic agents group was almost same in non-hyperosmotic agents group. 3) Reducing intraocular pressure didn't seem to have any effect to the vitreous loss.
