Statistical Study of Behcet's Syndrome

Abstract

A statitical gtudy of 27 patients of Behcet's syndrome (complete type l6, incomplete type 8, suspect type 3, poggible type 0) treated at the National Medical Center between 1963 and 1977 wag carried out. Sex distribution is 17 males (62.9%) and 10 female (37.1%. The age of onset reached its peak ia the third aad fourth decades. The most promisent symptomes were as follows; ora lesion (96%), skin legion (96%), genital lesion (93%), ocular lesion (70%). In about 52% of all eyeg, visual acuity wag diminished to the social blindness during the treatment.
