Lamellar scleral resection on retinal detachment
Abstract
- 2 primary retinal detachments without any hole or tear are reported. They, 41 aged male, and 36 aged female, were operated on by means of lamellar scleral resection associated with drainage of subretinal fluid. And very good results that is, almost normal appearance of fundus, promoted improval of visual acuity and enlargement of visual field were obtained in both cases.
