A Case of Solar Urticaria
Abstract
- A 14-year-old male had solar urticaria that was activated by visible light. The patient developed an urticarial wheal at the site of the injection of the injection of his own serum that had been previously exposed to light in vitro. The results of passive and reverse passive transfer studies were all negative. We report a case of solar urticaria which appears to belong to type I in the classification of Leenutaphong.
