Two Cases of Sparganosis
Abstract
- Two cases of sparganosis is reported. 45 year old male officer had a bean sized, migrating soft nodular lesion in the subcutaneous tissue of the left thigh and generalized itching sensation for 6 years duration. From the lesion one sparganum (22 cm in length) was obtained. 35 year oId sister had a bean sized subcutaneous nodular mass on left lower leg for 10 years duration and removed one sparganum (5 cm in legth) by surgical excision. The worms pale milky white and ribbon like in shape.
