Intra-abdominal Cryptorchism : Testicular Autotransplantation

Abstract
- For past two years, 7 patients with 8 intra-abdominal testes have undergone testicular autotransplantation. Microsurgery on 4 testicles led to the good results in 4 patients. Although the authors believe this technique will allow theoretically reliable vascularity to the testicle, the skill in micro surgery as well as the proper surgical equipment are essential in achieving good surgical results. Also, the proper time to perform autotransplantation intra-operatively is another important factor affecting the surgical results.
