Sinus Tract of Dental Origin with Pyogenic Granuloma

Sinus tract of dental origin is a syndroma rather than a disease entity, which is composed with periapical abscess, sinus tract, and granulomatous skin changes at the opening of the tract. It has been reported more frequently in dental or surgical fiedls than dermatological field. Recently. authors found a case of sinus tract which was originated from a periapical abscess to the skin. the patient. 41 year-old male. who has been suffered from long standing solitary papule with discharge on the right chin, visited dermatological clinic on July 21 1979. About 2 years ago. a subcutaneous abscess developed on the right chin. It became fluctuated and then ruptured. After pus drainage, intermittent seropurulent discharges have been noted, instead of healing. (countinued...)
