A Case Of Congenital Dermoid Of The Limbus

Abstract

The authors had experienced a case of congential limbal dermoid. The patient, a 32 year-old Korean male, visited at the clinic with the complaints of visual disturbance and mass feeling on his right eye. The mass was measured 1. 5 X 0.6 X 0.3 cm, impressed as a congenital limbal dermoid and resected surgically from the limbus in the direction of 6~8 o'clock. Post operation histo pathological study of the excised mass revealed a typical structure of the limbal dermoid which was composed of sweat glands, sebaceous glands and etc.
