A Study on the Thyroid Function of the SEveral Skin Deseases with I131
Abstract
- There has been a long termed dispute of correlation betweens the thyroid function and, skin disaeses. However no definite agreement has been reached, Authers intended to determine correlations between the thyroid function and several dermatoses with I and basal metabolic rate on 28 dermatolagic cases of amditted military personel (Alopecia areata 8, Psoriasis vulgaris 6, Ichthyosis vulgaris 14) The result turned to be as follow: only one case of the ichthyosis vulgaris among 28 cases showed slight hyperactivity and others were noted to be normal.
