Abstract
- BACKGROUND/AIMS
Gastric polyps are recommended to be removed due to their premalignant potential. Endoscopic polypectomy has long been considered a safe and effective method for removal of gastric polyps.
METHODS
The authors diagnosed and treated 290 gastric polyps using endoscopy on 210 patients who had been admitted to Chungnam National University Hospital from January, 1990 to August, 1996. The clinical endoscopic and pathologic findings were evaluated.
