Abstract

We present a case of bladder hemangioma surrounded by fat and describe the Magnetic Resonace (MR) imaging finding. The bladder hemangioma showed low signal intensity on T1-weighted images and heterogeneous high signal intensity on T2-weighted images. The fat surrounding the hemangioma was well demonstrated on MR imaging. Although the mechanism is unclear, surrounding fat may be the part of tumor by the reactive proliferation of adipose tissue.
