A Case of Term Cesarean Delivery in Patient with Chronic Renal Failure

Abstract

Pregnancy is an unusual event in patient with chronic renal failure under going hemodialysis. When it occurs, spontaneous abortion, still birth, and neonatal death end 75% to 80% of the pregnancies. The mother is at risk for hypertension and abruptio placenta. The fetus is at risk for prematurity and growth retardation. Successful term pregnancy and cesarean delivery of a patient with chronic renal failure is presented.
