Antenatal Ultrasonographic Findings of Meckel-Gruber Syndrome: A Cases Report

Abstract

Meckel-Gruber syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder with major characteristic features consisting of occipital encephalocele, polycystic kidney, polydactyly. Antenatal ultrasonic examination can estabilish the definite diagnosis by at least two of the major features described. We report the findings of antenatal ultrasonography and pathology of a Meckel-Gruber syndrome diagnosed at 24weeks gestational age.
